As one of the sensitive upgrades, I opted for the later GIRLING brake calipers with larger brake pads which were used by JAGUAR commencing with the E Type S2 and slightly changed until XJ. The reason for this choice is to keep a good brake balance when using a 4 pot brake system at the front.
